Following on from a successful inaugural school canteen day in 2009 we are pleased to announce the 2010 Healthy Kids School Canteen Day will be held on Friday 18th June.
Mark it in your calendar and start planning now.
Last year schools had some great ideas such as:
• Invited local sporting or television celebrities to serve behind the counter
• Held colouring-in or canteen naming competitions
• Had a special breakfast or offered meal deals
• Held a special thank you morning tea for their volunteers
