Daily Takings Record
The Daily Takings record is for recording the amount of money in your cash drawer(s) at the end of the day.
To use this record:
1. At the end of each day count the money in your cash drawer.
2. Return some coins or notes to the drawer for the next day’s float. Write the amount you are returning in the float column. Return the same amount to the float every day. Two people should do the counting, and re-count if you get different totals.
3. If there was a special event in the school that caused the day’s takings to be unusually high or low (eg open days or excursions) make a note of it in the comments section of this record.
4. You can use this template to record your daily takings for a month.
