Wastage Record

The wastage record should include the following:

  • Any food or damaged goods that are disposed of.
  • Any food sold below cost price (subtract the amount paid from the cost price and record in cost price column).
  • Any leftover food taken home (although this should be actively discouraged).
  • Any food or goods that are given away for free (eg promotional offers or taste tests).
  • All staff and volunteer lunches if provided (refer to your canteen policy).
  • Any food or goods that are donated to school functions.

4 Year-Old Lunchbox Ideas

My 4 year old daughter is a fussy eater and all she wants for her packed lunch is cheese and cucumber sandwiches or egg mayo sandwiches. Trying to get her to eat any other filling results in her bringing the whole thing back home uneaten. Keen to get some other ideas and how to get her to expand her tastes.
